We've been around!

The Ambassadors perform a wide variety of music ranging from Classic Rock 'n' Roll to Ballroom Dance to Country & Western and more. We create sets designed to get people dancing while entertaining those that like to sit back and watch. The songs we play are chosen to evoke an infectious nostalgia for the older members of the crowd while being fresh and accessible for the younger folks. Many of the songs we play that were big hits 'way back when' in the fifties and sixties have been recorded again more recently by younger artists and this provides a pleasant familiarity across a wide age spectrum for everyone's enjoyment.

The Ambassadors were originally formed in the early sixties and soon became the most popular band in the Kootenays. Back in the heyday of pop music The Ambassadors frequently won Battle of The Bands contests and had a huge following. They were what the other bands wanted to be in the golden age of Rock and Roll. After many successful years of popularity the band members each went their own way to pursue their personal interests. In 2006 the band was reformed with a two new members replacing a couple of the original members. The feeling was still there and is now stronger than ever ... The Ambassadors still rock the joint wherever they play!

Warren Huscroft on guitar and Pat Paterson on vocals are the two original members of The Ambassadors. The very talented Kalen Wild, who plays guitar, mandolin, fiddle and is featured on vocals and keyboards joins bassman extraordinaire Stephen Bullock as new members of the band. All of the current band members have spent years performing as professional musicians in their own right and they bring their wealth of experience in performing crowd-pleasing music and professionalism to your events with care and enthusiasm.
